Purpose

The purpose of this Human Rights Policy is to outline the commitment of Renew Holdings Plc (Renew) and its subsidiary businesses (subsidiaries) to upholding, promoting, and respecting human rights in all aspects of our operations, in alignment with UK law and internationally recognised standards, including the International Bill of Rights, UN Universal Declaration of Human Rights, the UK Human Rights Act 1998, and the International Labour Organisation’s (ILO) core conventions. This policy applies to all employees, contractors, suppliers, and business partners.

This policy applies to all subsidiary businesses, employees, supply chain and partners associated with Renew within the UK and countries of operation.

We are committed to maintaining a safe and healthy work environment by complying with UK health and safety regulations and fostering a culture of safety and respect.


Inclusive and Equitable Working Environment
Renew and its subsidiaries are committed to providing an inclusive, equitable and fair working environment for all. Fair treatment is practiced across all employee interactions free from discrimination and prejudice.


Freedom of Association and Collective Bargaining
We respect the rights of employees to freely associate, join trade unions, and engage in collective bargaining, where appropriate, in accordance with UK law and international standards.

We will not interfere with or retaliate against employees who wish to form, join, or participate in such associations.

Fair Compensation and Good Conditions of Employment
We will pay wages that meet or exceed minimum wage requirements and aim to ensure fair compensation for all employees.

Forced Labour, Modern Slavery, and Human Trafficking
We have a zero-tolerance approach to forced labour, modern slavery, and human trafficking within our business operations and supply chain.

Our subsidiary businesses produce comprehensive policies in respect of Modern Slavery and Human Trafficking which are available on their company websites.

Compliance with minimum age requirements for all workers
We are committed to preventing child labour in our operations and supply chains.

Renew and its subsidiaries will work only with suppliers and partners who share our commitment to prohibiting child labour.

Privacy and Data Protection
Renew and its subsidiaries respect the privacy of all employees, customers, and stakeholders and are committed to protecting their personal data.
We comply with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR).

Awareness

Renew and its subsidiaries ensure all employees are aware of this policy and provide training on key elements such as recruitment, modern slavery and compliant employment practices to raise awareness.

Reporting Concerns

Renew and its subsidiaries encourage employees to report any concerns or violations of this policy via their local HR teams or, if appropriate, via the Whistle Blowing channels.

Any reports will be taken seriously and investigated in accordance with standard procedures. Retaliation against individuals who report human rights concerns is strictly prohibited.

Due Diligence and Risk Management

Renew and its subsidiaries continue to assess the human rights risks of employees and people in the supply chain.

Review and Continuous Improvement

Renew reviews this policy annually to ensure it remains up-to-date and aligned with legal requirements and best practices.

Compliance

All subsidiary businesses, employees, contractors, and partners of Renew are expected to uphold and respect this policy. Any breaches will be addressed in accordance with our disciplinary procedures.
